Wine Selection - March 2022
MARCH 2022
This month we have you embark on a classic old world wines journey between both slopes of the Alps.
The delicate mineral notes of this month' whites, from our enticing Sicilian Grillo to our biodynamic Syrah-Grenache from Languedoc will counter balance our powerful, sun-packed reds from Puglia to Bordeaux.
-
Lambrusco Emilia Amabile - Ideal throughout a meal, excellent with flavoursome first courses, pizza and roasts.
-
Cent' Are Grillo DOC 2019 - Fine aromas of citrus fruits accompanied by notes of jasmine and orange blossoms. Fresh and well-balanced.
-
Natura Nostrum Languedoc Biodynamic White - Aromatic, well balanced and Fresh. Great paired with grilled fish, or any seafood dish - especially a local sea bass grilled with salt.
-
Baron Philippe de Rothschild - Mouton Cadet Selection Bordeaux Rouge - From a full-bodied attack on delicate, fresh black fruit, a clean-cut yet refined tannic structure emerges on the midpalate to carry the black fruit flavors into a finish where they are joined by the coffee notes found on the nose.
-
Envyfol Syrah Pays d'Oc - Syrah from Domaine EnvyFol is a red wine from the Pays d'Oc region in Vin de Pays. On the palate, this red wine is a powerful wine with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.
-
Piluna Primitivo Salento IGT - This wine has won many awards - Dark crimson-red color; full bouquet of ripe red fruits and cherry conserve, with notes of pepper and vanilla and hints of Mediterranean scrub.
